Charles Crosland - Senior Minister

Charles grew up in Shropshire and became a Christian in London at the age of 19. He  felt called to the ministry and after 21 very happy years as Minister of Ross on Wye Baptist Church, came to Claremont as Senior Minister in 2004.

Married to Susan, the couple have two children - James and Rachael.

Charles is passionate about a number of things including history, cricket and Shrewsbury Town Football Club who he has supported since he was a boy, but his greatest desire is to teach God's unchanging truths in ways relevant to a new generation and to build a church community at Claremont to share God's love with people in word and action!
